Office of the District Attorney, 18th Judicial District (click here) The mission of our office is to ensure that justice is done by professionally, ethically and vigorously prosecuting criminal offenses. We are committed to advocating for victims' rights and promoting public safety through cooperation and partnership with law enforcement and our community members.
Service for Batterers (click here) In 2000, the Colorado General Assembly passed legislation, which created the Domestic Violence Offender Management Board to develop standards for the assessment, evaluation, treatment and behavioral monitoring of adult domestic violence offenders. A copy of the Standards For Treatment With Court Ordered Domestic Violence Offenders is available upon request by calling (303) 239-4528 or on our website at http://dcj.state.co.us/odvsom.
State statute prohibits the Department of Corrections, the Judicial Department, the Division of Criminal Justice of the Department of Public Safety, or the Department of Human Services from employing or contracting with, or allowing convicted domestic violence offenders to employ or contract with providers unless they are operating under these standards, and appear on the Approved Provider List approved by the Domestic Violence Offender Management Board.

Legal Assistance (click here) The Victims' Assistance Legal Organization, Inc. (VALOR), a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation, was established in 1979 by the late Frank G. Carrington, one of the early proponents of victims' rights. It was his intention that the organization provide leadership on issues related to the rights of crime victims in America.
Familiy Violence Prevention Fund (click here) The Family Violence Prevention Fund works to prevent violence within the home, and in the community, to help those whose lives are devastated by violence because everyone has the right to live free of violence.
